Face 1 : Rosa Parks - Civil rights activist Rosa Parks refused to surrender her bus seat to a white passenger, spurring the Montgomery boycott and other efforts to end segregation.Rosa Parks received many accolades during her lifetime, including the Spingarn Medal, the NAACP's highest award, and the prestigious Martin Luther King Jr. Award. On September 9, 1996, President Bill Clinton awarded Parks the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest honor given by the United States' executive branch. A native of Argentina, he is the first pope from the Americas. After the 2013 papal election results were announced, U.S. President Barack Obama issued a statement about the new pope: "As the first pope from the Americas, his selection also speaks to the strength and vitality of a region that is increasingly shaping our world, and alongside millions of Hispanic Americans, those of us in the United States share the joy of this historic day. FACE 3 : Michelle Obama - Michelle Obama was born on January 17, 1964 in Chicago, Illinois. She attended Princeton University, graduating cum laude in 1985, and went on to earn a law degree from Harvard Law School. Following law school, she worked at a Chicago law firm, where she met her husband, President Barack Obama. The couple married on October 3, 1992 and have two daughters, Malia and Sasha. Face 4 : Beatrix Potter - Born July 28, 1866, Beatrix Potter spent a solitary childhood with long holidays in the country. She loved to sketch animals and later invented stories about them. In 1902, Potter published The Tale of Peter Rabbit, which launched her career as a children's author. More than 20 other books for young audiences soon followed. Potter's tales of Peter Rabbit, Jemima Puddle-Duck, Benjamin Bunny and others have become children's classics. Potter died on December 22, 1943, in Sawrey, England. In her will, she left much of her land holdings to the National Trust to protect it from development and to preserve it for future generations. Potter also left behind a mystery—she had written a journal in code. The code was finally cracked and the work published in 1966 as The Journal of Beatrix Potter.She died in 1943. Face 5: Ivanka Trump Ivanka Trump is the daughter of real estate mogul and President Donald Trump. She began a modeling career in her teens, but later joined her father's business empire after college. From 2006 to 2015, she worked alongside her father and two brothers as a judge on Celebrity Apprentice. On July 21, 2016, Ivanka introduced her father at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio, before he accepted the party's presidential nomination. She currently works in the White House and travels with President Trump when meeting Heads of State in other countries. Ivanka is the mother three children.
